Our history & present
GUNRY YEAR 1983
Over 30 years ago, our founder Jan-Åke Rybrink had the ambition to start satisfying people with affordable soap and cotton products of good quality. He found the best suppliers and factories and then created the recipe for success for what would eventually end up with the largest retailers in the Nordic region.
GUNRY TODAY
The journey here has been long. Gunry has been grown and shaped for over 30 years by our consumers who we often use to help develop exciting news. Today, we spread joy with our products throughout the Nordic region and parts of Europe. The brand is now run by Jan-Åke's son Johan Rybrink with the same values as his father had already in 1983.
SUSTAINABILITY
Gunry's products are used in large quantities and by many people. Therefore, we see it as necessary to think about the environment and positively use nature. That is why we work with factories that think alike so that together we can develop more sustainable alternatives for our customers, preferably with certifications such as the Nordic Ecolabel and GOTS. Today we have many products with certification for environment & ecology - ex: cotton products, tampons, and baby wipes. More will come soon.
